Katelyn L. Wierenga is a member of Plunkett Cooney's Transportation Law and Torts & Litigation practice groups. She focuses her insurance litigation practice on the defense of large, self-insured corporations and insurance companies, as well as their policyholders, in complex personal injury, No-Fault law, premises liability and workers' compensation claims.

A member of the firm's Grand Rapids office, Ms. Wierenga has more than a decade of experience litigating claims involving premises liability, dram shop, retail liability and toxic torts. She also handles third-party subrogation matters and defends clients in first-party personal injury and complex litigation cases.

Ms. Wierenga is a sought-after presenter who regularly provides updates on new legal issues and case law in her areas of expertise. She is often requested to present to in-house counsel, and she routinely authors legal summaries and newsletter articles.
