Bio
Michelle N. Felder is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant who provides litigation support primarily to members of Plunkett Cooney’s Medical Liability Practice Group.
With over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, Ms. Felder assists in the representation of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, hospitals, outpatient service providers, nursing homes and extended care facilities, in medical malpractice litigation as well as with state regulatory and disciplinary representation. She has particular expertise in litigation involving emergency medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease, surgical care, bone/joint reconstruction, implant failure, cardiac care, vascular care, stroke/neurology, laboratory analysis and long-term care.
In addition to her work as a member of the Medical Liability Practice Group, Ms. Felder provides support to the product liability, insurance and employment law practice groups.
Ms. Felder has extensive expertise in summarizing case files, identifying pertinent record sources, and providing detailed medical summaries and chronologies of medical treatment. She also conducts medical research and identifies, obtains and prepares expert witnesses, as well as performs Medical Cost Projection reports.
