Bio
Scott K. Lites has nearly 40 years of experience representing clients in their acquisition, financing, investment, development and disposition activities. A member of the firm's Business Transactions & Planning Practice Group, he has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate law, and he represents a growing number of clients involved in the cannabis industry.
Mr. Lites serves as a chair of Plunkett Cooney's Board of Directors, as chairman of the firm's Finance Committee, and is a member of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.

- Special counsel for international global provider of IT solutions and services in its $100,000,000 acquisition of stock in a national IT and web products and services provider for hospitals and health care systems
- Special counsel for international global provider of IT solutions and services in obtaining $85,000,000 line of credit
- Special counsel for Michigan-based public employee pension system on various matters, including:
- Issuance of $25,000,000 letter of credit, including negotiation of fee structure, reimbursement agreement and other credit documents
- Prosecution of breach of fiduciary claims against promoter
- Conducting due diligence on possible alternative investments under Public Act 314
