Former City of Warren Mayor James Fouts recently lost his appeal to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit which sought to overturn a lower court's decision dismissing Fouts' complaint against Warren City Clerk Sonja Buffa, Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini, Warren City Council and the City of Warren Election Commission and denying a rerun of the November election. Plunkett Cooney appellate attorney Mary Massaron argued the case on behalf of the Warren City Council.
