Senior attorney James Grendell recently joined Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms, as a member of its Real Estate Litigation & Title Insurance Practice Group.  

A member of the firm’s Columbus office, Grendell concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of real estate law, business law and title insurance litigation.

For over a decade, Grendell has represented clients across Ohio in matters involving commercial loan workouts, easement and pipeline issues, receiverships, consumer litigation, mortgage repurchase agreement disputes, as well as contract and residential real estate disputes. His expertise also includes matters involving unregulated securities, private equity and qualified investing in alignment with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations.

Grendell is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He received his law degree from University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2011 and his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in 2008.
