Plunkett Cooney paralegal Laura E. Adamaitis Thirion was recently named the 2024 Paralegal of the Year by the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar).

Adamaitis Thirion will be honored at the 2024 IndyBar Paralegal Appreciation Luncheon on June 5 at the Indianapolis Bar Association headquarters located in downtown Indianapolis.

The Paralegal of the Year award recognizes an outstanding paralegal for his/her contribution to the legal community. The nominee must be a member of the IndyBar, he/she must have made an exceptional contribution to the legal industry and be recognized as a good role model for the paralegal profession.

A member of the Indianapolis office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and most accomplished full-service law firms, Adamaitis Thirion provides litigation paralegal support in the area of premises liability. She also assists attorneys with transportation law matters.  

In addition to the IndyBar, Adamaitis Thirion is actively involved in several other legal organizations, including the Indiana Paralegal Association where she served two-year terms as both the secretary and president.
