PDFMoyer named chair of national organization’s committee
Plunkett Cooney attorney Bradford S. Moyer was recently named Chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee (ICLC) of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS).
“It is an honor to serve as the chair of this committee,” said Moyer, a member of the Kalamazoo office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms. “This committee is dedicated to the professional growth of litigators, and in my ICLC leadership role, I can help provide resources and opportunities to help my colleagues be more effective and better advocates on behalf of their clients.”
ICLC is the largest TIPS committee with approximately 3,000 members. The committee is dedicated to helping litigators representing carriers and policyholders alike become more effective practioners in the insurance industry. In addition, ICLC serves as a publisher, program provider, news and analysis source, and a strong national voice in discussions concerning the practice of law.
A member of Plunkett Cooney’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group, Moyer focuses his practice primarily in the area of insurance coverage, representing insurance providers in coverage disputes involving a wide range of complex and multi-party claims throughout the country. He is licensed to practice in Michigan, Indiana and the District of Columbia.
Moyer received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1994 where he served as executive editor of the Valparaiso University Law Review.
