PDFBradford Moyer named chair elect of ABA committee
Partner Bradford S. Moyer was recently named Chair Elect of the American Bar Association’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee (ICLC) of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS).
“It is an honor to be recognized by my colleagues and the ABA to serve as chair elect of this fantastic committee,” said Moyer, a member of the Kalamazoo office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms. “I look forward to elevating my active involvement with the ABA and the ICLC in this leadership role and continuing to be a strong advocate in the professional development of our members.”
ICLC is the largest committee within TIPS with more than 3,000 members, with TIPS being the largest specialty section of the American Bar Association. The committee is dedicated to helping litigators representing carriers and policyholders alike become more effective practioners in the insurance arena. In addition, ICLC serves as a publisher, provider of programming, source of news and analysis, and a strong national voice in discussions concerning the practice of law.
A partner in Plunkett Cooney’s Kalamazoo Office, Moyer focuses his practice primarily in the area of insurance coverage, representing insurance providers in coverage disputes involving a wide range of complex and multi-party claims throughout the country. He is licensed to practice in Michigan, Indiana, and the District of Columbia.
Moyer, who has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, the leading peer review service in the legal profession, received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1994 where he served as executive editor of the Valparaiso University Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1991.
