Your game plan for challenging EEOC foul calls
Originally Held: Thursday, June 7, 2018
Time: Noon to 1:15 p.m.

Presented by Rochelle Clarke and Michael Weaver
Webinar Overview:
In basketball, taking a charge from an opponent is a good thing, because in an instant, your team goes from playing defense to going back on offense with a chance to score even more points.
With the right game plan, charges filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against employers can be turned around in a similar way. This webinar was designed to assist business executives, human resource professionals and their insurance providers with a strategy for effectively responding to EEOC charges and positioning your case for success should it escalate to litigation.
This webinar tipped off with an overview about the EEOC and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. Our attorneys then broke down a game plan employers can execute should they become the target of an EEOC complaint. Topics included:
- What to expect once an EEOC charge is filed
- Current areas of focus by the EEOC
- Crafting effective position statements
- Prepare witnesses for interviews with EEOC investigators
- Leveraging learned during the investigation for use in litigation
Intended Audience:
This webinar was designed to benefit business owners, executives and human resources professionals.
