Webinar Overview
The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and how it is regulated by the federal government continues to cause consternation for many employers.
This webinar dove into specifics about the status of the 2016 Final Rule, which made significant revisions to the regulations construing the white-collar overtime exemptions. As you likely know by now, those revisions were enjoined by a federal court judge in November 2016. What happens next in the ongoing litigation and what impact the new administration may have on this incredibly important area of law is on the front of many employers’ minds.
In addition to discussing the current status of the 2016 Final Rule, we also reviewed recent notable court rulings, the enforceability of collection action waivers, and notable litigation trends.
Intended Audience:
This webinar was designed to benefit business owners, executives and human resources professionals.
