Diversity Committee

Since its formation in 2002, Plunkett Cooney’s Diversity Committee has met monthly to address issues pertinent to the recruiting, hiring and retaining employees. Meetings follow a formal agenda and regular reports are issued to the firm’s management team and Board of Directors.

Plunkett Cooney’s Diversity Committee members are committed to moving the firm further along the diversity continuum by achieving the overarching firm goals of reflecting the population of the communities in which we work and live and creating an environment of mutual respect and equal opportunity for all.

The Chair of Plunkett Cooney’s Diversity Committee is Kenneth L. Lewis, who is a senior litigator in the firm’s Detroit office and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Joining Mr. Lewis on the committee are his partners Suzanne P. Bartos, Henry B. Cooney (President and Chief Executive Officer), Dennis M. Day, Suzanne T. Hall, Laurel F. McGiffert, Seymour M.
